What Is Telehealth Treatment for Autism and Who Can Benefit?

Telehealth treatment for autism is delivered by the same highly trained and experienced board-certified behavior analysts who conduct in-home visits. However, telehealth autism therapy involves connecting people remotely as opposed to in person.
Using our platform, your child is connected directly to one of our ABA therapy providers directly from your home. Telehealth therapy can benefit children with autism and their families, delivering the same level of care that you would expect from in-person services. Online autism therapy includes:

Why Do Families Choose Telehealth ABA Services?

Telehealth allows for enhanced, efficient, and private access to professional autism treatment without the need to leave one’s home.

Families choose to obtain ABA telehealth services for their children for a number of reasons. Telehealth allows for the treatment of people with autism in homes where a therapist isn’t able to enter. It also allows families to access the treatment they need when a therapist is not available in their local area.

This type of therapy can be ideal for busy families and parents who need highly flexible treatment and learning schedules. Telehealth also offers many benefits for families wishing to enhance their in-home treatment with online sessions.

How Telehealth Treatment With Pivotal Parenting Works

Telehealth ABA sessions and parent training with Pivotal Parenting is delivered via our own HIPAA-compliant online platform to allow for effortless insurance reporting. Clients only need to sign in to the platform at their appointment time to receive treatment or parent training with one of our specialists.

Because our platform is completely secure, we can ensure that every online session will respect and maintain your privacy.

Why Pivotal Parenting?

We hand-pick each of our team members, who combined possess over 16 years of autism training experience. But we also ensure that each team member receives continuous training from the American Academy of Pediatrics as long as they remain with us. This ensures that our clients always receive the highest-quality training and therapy.
Each of our clients undergoes a comprehensive skills assessment. Out of this assessment, a detailed report is generated that includes a proposed treatment plan and social skills group. We review this plan with you, and once you approve it, treatment begins.
Pivotal Parenting chooses not to have a large client list; instead, we keep our list of clients small. This ensures that each client gets the attention they need from a BCBA who always has plenty of time and resources for them, and eliminates the need for a waiting list.
With parent training, you learn how to support your child’s therapy between sessions, and receive support from our skilled team. As well, you’ll learn how to exploit your strengths while eliminating behavior that may be interfering with your child’s progress.

When your child needs added support outside of regular office hours, Pivotal Parenting offers weekend services by appointment only. This ensures consistency, and also provides peace of mind that your child will always receive the support they need from a skilled provider.
